    Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities by Competency Functional Expertise: Must be familiar with industry best management practices, industry recommended standards, and acceptable industry engineering and design standards. Must comply with Company policies and procedures as well as applicable State and Federal regualtions. Assist with AFE and or MOC development. Provide technical review of all projects to ensure compliance with engineering standards, company policies and procedures, and to ensure appropriate budgets Work with Operations, Project Management, and third Party engineering firms to ensure timely coordination and completion of new construction projects and or upgrades to existing facilities. Ensure that project records are properly assembled, documented and filed per regulatory requirements. Responds appropriately to abnormal operating conditions in order to maintain a safe and reliable operating environment. Responds appropriately to Emergency Response situation and performs first responder duties in accordance with the Emergency Response Plant. Assist in the assessment and development of technicians. Business Acumen: Must be competent with coordinating major equipment or facility repairs and or inspections by third parties as qualified and assigned.
