    Role Outline

    You will carry out the function of designing new plant and engineering solutions for the Sales department using 3D software (SolidWorks) and 2D software. You will prepare accompanying quotations in Excel, learn about and use 3D software and related applications in order to improve the clarity and appeal of their Sales designs. You will also ensure you offer all reasonable support to the Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Projects and R&D departments within the company as and when needed.

    Main Responsibilities

    - Create design solutions and accompanying quotations in a timely manner

    - Carry out design work intended to enhance the Company's Marketing tools

    - Carry out engineering design work on inpidual projects, as required, by the Sales Manager for standard and non-standard applications

    - You will use, maintain and share with colleagues a standard product price list and make suitable suggestions for its improvement

    - Work on the design and pricing elements within the Company's ongoing Product Standardisation programme

    - Produce drawings for new products and to offer input on any R&D project occurring within the Company

    - Provide monthly reports detailing statistical information relating to sales

    - Attend meetings called by the management
