    Quality Control Inspector Location: Dorset Opportunity to join world class manufacturer. Immediate start available 6 month contract with possible permanent opportunity. Salary: £12 per hour. Education: Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or relevant experience in the field of project engineered manufacturing. 3 years minimum experience in use of Inspection & measuring equipment Experience: *Experience in calibration of Inspection equipment *Adept at reading & interpretation of Engineering Drawings. *Experience in using an MRP and PRP system. *Experience in working within different manufacturing systems including project engineering. *Experience in material handling, including correct use of slings & overhead cranes. The position focuses on inspection and quality control of valve component parts and assemblies. Providing support across a number of quality control disciplines to ensure efficient and effective material flow through inspection. The Quality Control Inspector will undertake in-process component part inspection & test, including first-offs, and carry out all aspects of the goods receiving inspection process including material certification in accordance with order requirements and t final inspection & test of component parts. The Quality Control Inspector will assist with in-house calibration of gauges and test equipment, identifying and reporting non-conformance, and assisting the Quality team in monitoring supplier performance in liaison with the purchasing team to ensure effective resolution of problems Enjoy Technical acts as an employment agency and as an employment business as defined by the Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations 2003.     Tasks will include: -Setting production machines to achieve rapid and efficient product changeover in order to minimize downtime and maximize output. -Fault-finding expertise to production situations -Clean tooling removed from production machines and return to Tooling Engineer -Operate production machines -Manufacture of customer samples -Product and process testing under supervision of Engineering Team -Raw material testing -To work under pressure as the demands of the business dictate -Ensure that all equipment operates to a high level of safety and draw the plant engineers attention to areas of non-compliance. -Make suggestions concerning productivity and process improvements. -Proactive input of setting and operating expertise into special projects as required.
