    Job Description

    Main Responsibilities:

    - Raise purchase orders upon receipt of completed site requisition for materials and equipment

    - Expedite orders and ensure that deliveries arrive on site on time

    - Contact suppliers to resolve delivery issues

    - Maintain contact with site / give regular updates

    - Request quotes from suppliers for ad-hoc / non-standard items and feed back to site

    - Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, site managers and site administrators

    - Actively work on zero order value report in order to maintain KPI target

    - Assist the Accounts department with invoice queries

    - Work as part of the Supply Chain team to identify added value initiatives

    - Take part in supplier visits and product familiarisation training both on and offsite

    - Take part in site visits in order to gain a better understanding of the operational capabilities of the business

    - Assist the Supply Chain Manager with reports required for bench marking, KPI's and end of month management slides

    - Any other duties as required

    Qualification / Skills

    - Computer literate (Microsoft based package's)

    - Previous experience of working with a purchasing programme would be desirable but not essential

    - CIPS qualification would be desirable but not essential

    - Highly motivated and organised

    - Able to prioritise workload

    - Able to work using own initiative and as part of a team

    - Customer service driven

    - Able to work under pressure

    - Able to communicate effectively both written and oral on all levels

    - Excellent attention to detail

    - Manage employee queries in mailbox, responding where answers known or escalating where unknown, filing when closed out etc.

    - Take and write up minutes in employee forums, maintain email distribution list for assigned employee population

    - Manage requests for inpidual meetings, including scheduling and room booking

    - Maintain register of inpidual employee t's and c's for assigned employee population including agreed buy-out for creation of contracts

    - Track return of signed contracts and file in employee files

    - Update HRIS with new employee terms and conditions once agreed

    - Maintain email distribution list of employees within assigned employee population, managing starters and leavers

    - Any other general admin as required in support of the project

    Skills / Qualifications

    - Experience in an HR-related role essential

    - Must have excellent organisational skills

    - Be a good communicator

    - Have experience managing large volumes of confidential employee data

    Wood are currently recruiting for a P&O Administrator to support a major employee consultation. Ideally the role will be based in our Darlington or Newcastle office, but could be based in Knutsford.
