    This company is a medium-sized business which 20 years ago spun out from one of the world's largest imaging companies. The role covers new product development and post development support. Products are engineered for low/medium volume production, typically 10's - 100's units/annum and involve complex systems with Ink deposition systems, mechanical, electronic and software content.

    You would be responsible for designing a wide variety of sub-systems for a range of print and production processes. You will be working within a multidisciplinary product development team and handle projects from concept through to manufacture.

    The essential requirement for this position is:

    - Knowledge and experience in the design of inkjet printing technologies

    This should include experience in some or all of the following areas:

    - Fluid delivery and/or fluid control systems

    - Electromechanical systems/modules

    - Printing Media transport control systems

    - UV ink printing behaviour

    - Software such as Matlab, Labview and any FEA packages

    This Inkjet Systems Engineer position would provide a basic salary of up to £55,000. There may be some flexibility for the ideal candidate.

    This role would also include an excellent package including 25 days holiday (increasing to 27 days within first 3 years of service), company contributed pension up to 6%, up to 10% annual bonus plus up to 9% monthly bonus, healthcare, dental, life cover, professional membership fees paid, free parking.
