    Service Engineer, Inverness, £30,763

    Working for an engineering company that provides services throughout the Highlands and Islands region, we are currently looking for a Mechanical or Electrical Service Engineer to work for our client at both their workshop and on site throughout Scotland and at times in Europe.

    You will be provide a full and comprehensive installation, repair, and service to all of our clients products from their facility in Inverness and other locations as directed. You will also provide remote customer support via telephone and other electronic media as requested.

    Main Duties

    1. Repair of fish farm cage side camera systems
    2. Routine maintenance and repair of fish feeding systems
    3. Routine maintenance and repair of underwater lights
    4. Site inspection and repair of cage side electrical systems
    5. Routine maintenance and repair of mechanical products
    6. On-site training of customers in the correct use of products
    7. Telephone support to customers



    Experience / Knowledge needed

    Industrial electrical, electronic or mechanical background
    Maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment
    Experience of test measuring equipment relevant to background

    A further education qualification in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering
    Recognised technical apprenticeship


    This is a permanent position, hourly rate £14.79 per hour for a 40 hour week. Overtime paid at Time and A Half.

    This role is commutable from Inverness, Fort William, Dingwall, Invergordon, Alness, Skye, Mallaig, Portree.
