Manage deviations from the annual business plan as a result either of controlled or uncontrolled change Coordinate with Facilities Engineering and Construction, Drilling, HES and other stakeholders to maximize production and meet Department goals Cultivate and maintain an effective working relationship with client to facilitate the attainment of business objectives Recruit, develop and maintain a proficient staff to ensure effective implementation of the department program Develop, justify and manage the annual operations budget Ensure contracting and procurement activities satisfy department’s objectives of meeting operational needs at competitive prices and that such activities are conducted in adherence to department’s policies and procedures on business practices Keep the Department Leadership Team informed about progress, opportunities, potential threats and critical problem issues

    We are urgently seeking to recruit an FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER this is a key management position responsible and accountable for managing all aspects of the operation of the OPQL asset. Key accountabilities include directing and coordinating the activities, through subordinate managers, of the Field Operations, Equipment Maintenance, Asset Integrity and Operations Engineering teams. They will also be responsible of ensuring that production of 115, 000 barrels of crude oil per day, 300,000 BBLS water injection and 150 mmscf of RAG is met. This position requires Supervisory responsibilities of personnel working on the facility irrespective of their departmental reporting relationships and will be based in QATAR on a long-term residential contract and can be on married or single status.
