    Job Description

    URGENT - A leading fully integrated exploration and production company with prime focus on gas extraction seeks a Graduate Production Analyst. This is a key role linking Operations to the Subsurface, Commercial and Finance departments. Your primary role will be to maintain the quality and accuracy of data input into the Company UK’s Production Data Management System (PDMS). Applicants are invited with a degree and competent in using MS Office and MS Excel. Experience of a scripting language such as SQL in the manipulation of data highly desired. The role is ideal for a graduate who is highly personable, independent with ambition to take on more responsibilities as you progress in your career. An exciting role working for an expanding and dynamic young oil operator. The Company is part of a larger Group, which is actively involved in the North Sea with production from operated fields. They have greatly expanded their portfolio of assets in recent years with numerous acquisitions, thereby increasing their position significantly. They hold operated platforms in the Danish sector and have equity shares in major fields off Norway and West of Shetland. This presents major opportunities for the Company to realise operational and commercial synergies and further enhance their offshore skills base. The UK Oil and Gas Company’s main focus is the Southern North Sea and West of Shetlands, primarily on natural gas production. Their success has been based on their strong management team, extensive subsurface expertise, technological know-how using ultra-modern drilling and production techniques and their continued commitment to research and development. The Company is committed to further growth, both organically and through acquisitions. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Head of Operations Support the role encompasses many functions including: • Become competent in the Company’s work flows and practices in relation to data. • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Senior Production Analyst. • Maintain the quality and accuracy of data input into the Company UK’s Production Data Management System (PDMS) • Ensure the database is up to date with live platform data and the daily partner data. Primarily the live data feeds are from Honeywell’s PHD, xml based loaders and T-SQL based loaders, importing data from excel spreadsheets. • Maintain the daily production loss inputs into the Production Loss Management System • Maintain the Operations Support mailbox and ultimately taking over responsibility for macros associated with automated email processing. • Deliver single source, reliable and auditable production data for the business in a timely manner. • Additional responsibilities include: -Assist in compiling Operations Department KPIs -Assist with statutory and industry body reporting -Analyse production data to forecast asset performance and inform budget assumptions -Prepare for, and participate in, internal and external presentations (including for Joint Venture partners) -Interface with partners’ production data teams -Issue production and plant status updates to the business on a monthly basis -Support the Head of Operations as required. Package: A Salary Package of £30K (Base of £26K + London Allowance) is on offer dependent on skills and experience. Oil operator benefits include – 25 days holiday, bonus scheme, pension, life assurance and unlimited access to the office gym and free instructor led classes.
