      - To monitor and report on all aspects of HSEQ matters of Base operation.

      - Liaise with all departments and functions to ensure that procedures and policies are being followed, implemented and are appropriate to meet and exceed legal requirements.

      - Assist in Critical supplier audit and base HSEQ audit programme.

      - Present a high safety profile in workshops and offices by conducting audits, regular tours, inspections, spot checks of base facilities and communicating HSE matters with all members of staff.

      - Organised/ conduct HSEQ related Internal and external training as per training Plan.

      - Collation, recording and effective communication of HSE data and monthly reporting.

      - Ensure Base PTW system are effectively managed and advise base management on any shortfall.

      - Encourage and Advice Base employees on Hazard reporting system and effective PIP reporting.

      - Monitor State/country legal requirement and report, if any change in regulation.

      - Closely monitor compliance with Equipment Maintenance procedures and Advise Base management on improvement areas/deviations/non-compliance.

      - Liaise with all functions to ensure that new and modified equipment is safe and remains compliant with current regulations.

      - Monitor Contractor HSEQ performance and organised contractor HSEQ performance meeting quarterly.

      - Actively promote HSEQC department as a 'can do' department.

    Job Knowledge & Qualifications.

    - Diploma in Engineering or technology (preferably Mechanical and chemical)

    - Diploma or degree in Industrial Safety recognised by State Government.

    - Oil & Gas, energy Industries experience would be preferable

    - Conversant with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and legislation.

    - Health, Safety and Environmental Lead Auditor training.

    - Safety Management and incident investigation training.

    - Computer Literate.

    - Good Interpersonal skills - internal and external.

    - Good team player with sound interpersonal skills.

    - Good understanding of HSE Management systems, policies and processes

This position will be based in Qatar on a long term residential contract : Purpose • The incumbent of the position shall, under direct supervision of the Head of Environment and Hygiene, discharge their duties & coordinate with other concerned departments to achieve the following objectives. • Offshore Operations’ compliance to client’s approved Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) conservation and protection policy. • Industrial Hygiene monitoring at client’s offshore locations i, Production Station (MM-PS2) , Production Station (BH-PS3) & North Field Alpha (NFA) in accordance with the state of Qatar and the client’s requirements in coordination with corporate HSE department. • Participates in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene risk assessments, follow up the implementation of the recommendations • Shall, under direct supervision of Head of Environment and Hygiene, give the necessary technical support and advice to all departments under Offshore Operations in all matters related to Industrial Hygiene.
