    The Role

    - Represent the Health, Safety and Environment Group in the design and implementation of HES Management Processes and Procedures as it relates to Safe Operations and Health, including development and execution of plans in coordination with the Operations, Supply Chain and the Projects Department.

    Job Description

    Manage Safety: (60%) Manage Safety Supervisors: Set direction for the achievement of company objectives and Safety Department goals. Counsel, develop, and assess employee work performance and provide feedback. Participate in the selection, hiring and training of new staff & administering time & attendance, development, etc.). Manage Field Safety Training Program: Oversee and ensure delivery of field safety training to meet Colonial requirements. Oversee the scheduling, tracking of attendance, and completion of training. Utilize Plan Do Check Adjust to ensure continuous improvement of the field safety-training program. Work with Training Services in the development of training programs. Coordination with Manager, Safety Management System to ensure effective: • Contractor Safety Program • Safety Programs and Safe Work Practices Provide SME: Provide SME to the field organization Job Site Inspection Analysis: (15%) Inspections: Determine the scope of safety inspections. Ensure inspections are completed and findings communicated. Recommended appropriate correctives actions. Incident Analysis & MOC Assurance: (15%) Incident Analysis: Ensure completion of Safety Incident Analysis (IA’s) as required. MOC: Ensure completion of MOCs as required. Emergency Response: (5%) Respond to emergencies at assigned level within in the Emergency Response Plan and Incident Management Team. Ensure readiness and safety competencies of ER responders. Develop and Maintain Safety SME: (5%) OSHA 30 Hour, Process Safety Boot camp, and other safety related training to increase knowledge, skills and competencies
