    We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a MATERIALS ENGINEER to work in their Supply Chain Department to Perform, supervise, monitor and control the activities towards Cataloguing of SPIR (Spare Parts Interchangeability Records) and SPF (Stock Proposal Forms) items in the Material Master Data to provide high quality standardized, comprehensive purchasing specifications and related engineering technical support across the supply chain in terms of review and analysis of technical documents, equipment drawings, data-sheets, recommending latest technology specification and standards for replacement items and equipment in place of identified obsolete items and equipment. Experience/Qualifications Required • 8 years’ experience in a supply chain environment required, preferably in oil and gas industry with 5 years in a supervisory capacity • Experience in Oil & Gas, Petroleum, Petrochemical and Engineering industry • Shall have good practical skills and hands-on experience in engineering, construction, commissioning or maintenance field, design, engineering, technical evaluation experience and all round expertise of respective discipline • Well-versed and thorough knowledge in relevant international standards API, ASME.
