    Minimum Bachelors degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or equivalent -Minimum 7 years of experience in refining, oil and gas production and/or petrochemical industries of which at least 5 years in design and detailed engineering of projects handling Instruments and Control Systems -A thorough knowledge of American and European design codes and standards covering equipment and installations in hazardous areas -Good interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written -Must have the ability to write clear and concise report, letters, proposals and memoranda Education:UG -B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Instrumentation, B.Sc - Any Specialization PG - Post Graduation Not Required Doctorate - Doctorate Not Required

    Job Description

    1.Resource Management -Provide guidance and check progress of Designers and Field Engineers to ensure that all tasks and projects assigned to them are completed on time and within budget 2.Quality Control & Assurance -Maintain integrity of engineering documentation by ensuring that all relevant Company standards and Industry best practices are followed 3.Cross Functional Activities -Provide engineering inputs for planning and execution of planned process unit T&Is for projects -Participate in the Incident Investigation meetings and ART teams for process units and facilities -Provide guidance and technical support to Departmental Strategic Trainees. 4.Project Management/Engineering -Directly manage large/more complex/critical projects. Implement justifiable projects after obtaining Company approvals -Prepare detailed specifications and designs. Purchase long lead engineered replacement instruments & systems. -Review designs carried out by Designers. 5.Engineering Support -Review relevant Lessons Learned from Engineering Projects and Incident Investigation Recommendations, Propose recommendations for solving identified problems and prepare detailed Engineering designs -Manage unit T&I Project/Support activities through concerned Project/Support Engineers. Participate in Front End Engineering & Design of small engineering projects
