    Natural Resources are urgently seeking to recruit Commissioning Engineers for a Pipeline project based in Qatar:- • COMMISIONING PROCESS ENGINEER 1 • COMMISSIONING MECHANICAL ENGINEER 2 • COMMISSIONING INSTRUMENT ENGINEER 2 • COMMISSIONING ELECTRICAL ENGINEER 2 PROCESS ENGINEER / COMMISSIONING COORDINATOR • Track delivery and approve Vendor Manuals and Documentation • Systemize P&IDs • Develop System Description and Process Commissioning Procedures • Preparation of Method Statements / Procedure for Pre-commissioning of System • Preparation for pipe cleaning (Chemical Cleaning, Flushing, Blowing, Leak checking, Inserting etc.,). • Manage Preservation during pre com / com phase • Commissioning spare parts list • Review & Identify the training Requirements • Develop performance tests • Develop Hand Over procedures • Custodian of the IO&M • P&ID Walk downs • First Fills • Manage Change COMMISSIONING MECHANICAL ENGINEER • Developing mechanical commissioning M/S, procedures and check sheets • Developing marked –up P&ID piping flushing and pumps • Monitor Completion system (ATLAS) for Mech M/C through to H/O • Identify the requirement of Temporary facilities like Water for flushing and its Disposal method, Evaporation Pond, Diesel Generators, Air Compressors, Inert Gas, Hoses etc. • Preparation of Equipment Maintenance Register (from Commissioning stage). • Safety Valves Testing and Records • Manage temporary spools / vents/drains/ strainers used in pre com / com • Manage alignment of pumps • Manage Equipment Monitoring ( vibration etc) • Mechanical Punch listing • P&ID Walk downs • First Fills • Lube Oil Flushing • Clean Spool policy COMMISSIONING INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER • Cable Diagrams/Schedules list • Develop the Instrument Loop folders to cover Cable schedule Tag list I/O list Inst Index J/B schedule Inst Data Sheets Trip and Alarm s register Loop sheets C&E Calibration sheets • Manage Point to Point testing • Instrument Calibration • Loop testing • Function Testing • C&E testing • Assist vendor to commission Vendor • P&ID Walk downs • Develop Instrument commissioning M/S, philosophy, procedures and Check sheets • Monitor Completion system (ATLAS) for Instrument M/C through to H/O • Instrument Punch Listing • SAT COMMISSIONING ELECTRICAL ENGINEER • Assist vendor with transformer test • Assist vendor with switchgear tests • Commission distribution boards • Commission L&SP • Lux tests • Witness motor winding / polarisation checks • Point to point cable check • Inter locks • Trips and interface to power management • Witness earth tests • No load and load runs of motors • SAT • Electrical punch list • Validate hazardous area certs • Interface with vendors If you wish to be considered for this position please send a detailed updated CV/Resume in microsoft word format

    Key Requirements

    The main requirements are for calibration, maintenance, monitor and repair of field instruments such as level, flow, pressure, temperature transmitter, control valve, on/off valve, solenoid valve, switches, DCS (ex: Honeywell…etc.), Vibration Monitoring Systems, ESD, Analyzers, MOVs, Gas Detection Systems, Fire Systems in oil refineries, petrochemical plants and / or hydrocarbon industries. Perform fault diagnosis on digital-data processing equipment down to printed-circuit board level by use of proprietary diagnostic programs and assembly and/or machine-language routines, common and specialised test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, simulators, etc.

    Job Description

    Suitable candidates will have a bachelor degree in an engineering field preferably electrical or instrumentation with a minimum of ten (10) experience as an Instrument Engineer within Maintenance in Oil Refineries, Petrochemicals Plants and / or Hydrocarbon industries T&I, IGCC, Gasification Units, Soot Ash Recovery Units, turnaround and/or major projects planning & execution. Fluency in English language, both verbal and written. Familiarity with basic computer software such as Microsoft Office and SAP. Willingness to execute tasks, even if they fall outside of area of responsibility.

The refinery will have the capacity to process 400,000 BPD of Arabian Heavy and Arabian Medium crude oils to produce gasoline, ultra-low-sulfur diesel, benzene, and paraxylene.
