    Summary:

    Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the electronic features of the robotics for non-destructive and decontamination activities in the Nuclear Environment. Improves and modifies existing tools and contributes to the fabrication and manufacturing of new tools. Analyzes and researches customer design proposals and specifications to determine the most efficient and cost effective operating procedure, ensuring conformance with engineering design principles and industry standards. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: includes but is not limited to the following duties.

    - Develops electromechanical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods, and soliciting observations from the engineering team

    - Validates system and product capabilities and quality through feasibility testing methods, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials

    - Prepares product reports by collecting, researching, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

    - Creates and refines technical and mechanical part and assembly drawings, capturing design intent and documenting the key aspects necessary to accomplish the project’s manufacturing goals

    - Creates and refines complex mechanical components

    - Develops the Bill of Materials management on all projects

    - Performs Root Cause Analysis on and testing activities for inspection systems

    - Integrates mechanical and electrical components into the engineering design

    - Develops high quality engineering drawings with GD&T

    - Analyzes mechanical systems, including Finite Element analysis for structural, fatigue, thermal, vibration on engineering designs

    - Develops manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable engineering standards

    - Interfaces with outside vendors for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly

    - Reads and interprets technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports

    We have been awarded contracts by our client for the provision of engineering and project management services for their Unconventional Gas Development Program. The program covers current field development in 3 different parts of Saudi Arabia with potential further field developments to be added later as the Program develops and expands. The Unconventional Gas development program is focused on increasing gas production via the development of shale gas and tight gas resources in the Kingdom. The new sources of gas are intended to displace middle and heavy distillate fuels currently used in power generation within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    Responsibilities:

    - Review and understand all relevant documents and conditions pertaining to the project as they affect your role

    - Support development of any job specific project control procedures for approval

    - Support the maintenance of the manpower projection plan for the project control team and liaise with the Manager, Project Control and Chief Engineers to ensure that the project is provided with sufficient resources at the required level

    - Support cost and schedule updates and communicated to the project team

    - Support the effective Change Control mechanisms and ensure that agreed changes are reflected in Budgets and Schedules

    - Liaise with other departments to ensure that information affecting schedule and cost is continually updated and that project control objectives are known

    - Maintain both time and cost trend performance indicators and statistics

    - Analyze and compare both schedule and cost information and relating conclusions such that management control action is alerted at the right time

    - Review overall job status and recommending corrective action where necessary

    - Review actual progress against planned progress, particularly with regard to manpower levels, productivity, performance metrics and payment

    - Liaise with other team leaders at all meetings relative to project operations, to ensure that information affecting schedule and cost is continually up-dated
