Key Requirements
•Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making—including contributing to the development, refinement and implementation of APG’s vision and strategic and operational plans—to ensure the company maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability in a way that is consistent with its high standards for quality and integrity; •Build and manage a strong power business development team that can meet ambitious new business development targets and sustain strong client relationships; •Develop, review, and report on the business development pision’s strategy and ensure the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team; •Conduct competitor and market analysis; •Collaborate with APG’s marketing department to ensure marketing, advertising and promotions are both efficient and effective; •Present a budget for board approval and prudently manage resources within those budgetary guidelines according to company policy and within ethical corporate governance guidelines; •Contribute positively to APG’s organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all consultants, customers and partners; and •Pursue ongoing professional and personal self-development.
Job Description
We’re looking for a dynamic, results-oriented and inspirational leader with a proven knowledge of business and management principles and a collaborative style. You must have excellent project and time management skills, an analytical approach and an aptitude for creating and sustaining meaningful relationships. Your values must be aligned with APG’s, including holding yourself to the highest ethical standards. You must have a firm understanding of financial management, marketing and sales. A background in engineering and asset management is a definite advantage. Experience in the power sector is a must.
