ENGINEERING SECRETARY – CONTRACT – SURREY

Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking an Engineering Secretary to work in their offices in Surrey on a Contract basis.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• GCSE Maths & English
• Excellent administrative experience
• Prior experience working for a large corporate organisation; ideally but not essentially engineering companies.
• Strong administration and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• This is a full time role and must be available on short notice.
• Ideally, but not essentially experience as an administrator within an HR department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting with settling-in arrangements for new staff (floor plan, IT needs, induction within dept. etc.);
• Liaising with HR with regards to department travel and accommodation needs, taxi bookings etc.;
• Coordination of timesheet authorisations on a weekly basis;
• Maintaining stationary needs for the department;
• Delegated duties for SAP authorisations;
• Assistance with maintenance of the Document Management System;
• Liaising with HR and Managers for day-to-day issues (completion and processing of HR forms etc.).

RATE: £12-13 per hour PAYE or £16.50 Ltd Company basis.

DURATION: Long Term (Ongoing)

BENEFITS: Very Close to the Station and some parking available.

We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match client’s specification and must be to work within the EU/UK.
