Responsibilities
• Conduct concepts, studies and designs
• Proposes and recommends alternative technical solutions to meet the End User objectives
• Create, develop and review work-scopes for projects and other engineering activities
• Ensure that the work-scopes are comprehensive and clear
• Ensure that the required engineering standards and client technical assurance practices are followed whilst conducting Process Engineering activities
• Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices
• Carry out in-house site surveys, engineering / design
• Produce, review, check and approve in-house designs and specifications
• Co-ordinate designs, specifications and work-scopes created by multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Experience/Qualifications Required
• 15 years relevant post graduate experience related to the Oil & Gas industry with 10 years of relevant experience in concept development and studies
• Experience should cover scouting studies, concept development, feasibility studies, Pre-FEED (concept optimization) for onshore and offshore facilities
• Experience and knowledge of Process design and process units’ integrations
• Should be familiar with Process simulation software's, international standards and Shell DEPs (preferable)
• Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Process Engineering
• Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment
• Good communications and presentation skills with fluency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
• Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable
