Al-Khobar is a large city located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the coast of the Persian Gulf and is linked to Bahrain via the causeway.

This is a residential permanent position (i.e. not rotational) and the Company provides 22 – 28 days holiday (depending on grade) plus you are entitled to all of the Saudi Public holidays (circa 10 - 14 days). The Company will provide accommodation for single or family status in a secure compound. They will organise all mobilisation / demobilisation transport and you will be entitled to 2 flights home per year.

Responsibilities: You will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing procedures, guidelines and training material for the extended department.
• Mentoring across the department.

• Interface and managing client personnel at a project level.
• Overseeing design Calculations and RCC / Structural Steel & Fabrication drawings for industrial structures, Substation Building, Pipe rack and Pile Foundations etc.
• Preparing Contract Bids, Tender Documents, Estimates, Technical Specification, Scope of work, Drawings, Bill of materials for various projects and proposals.
• Undertaking estimation and controlling of Civil & Structural Quantities and Man hours as per project requirements.
• Preparing Design Manual / Design Basis, Specification, Civil & Structural Deliverables for specific projects.
• Reviewing and Approving Civil & Structural Calculations and structural steel & RCC drawings and Civil 3D, PDS, SP-3D and PDMS Model Review.
• Overseeing analysis & design of Industrial Buildings, RCC & Structural Steel Structures – Using STAAD-PRO.

    - Carry out site survey activities at field to assist the designer in developing 2D Piping General Arrangement Drawings and Tie-in isometric drawings for critical lines

    - Prepare the Stress Critical Line List

    - Carry out stress analysis for all critical lines and check the support design till Isometric stage

    - Check the Stress calculations prepared by other Stress Engineers and following the applicable work instructions

    - Check the pipe support marked up on piping construction drawings by the Piping Designer for all non-critical lines

    - Based on the Stress Analysis provide load data for all critical lines to Area Engineer, the same will be forwarded to Equipment vendors and Civil / Structural
