Job Description

Our client are a highly successful power company who are aiming to develop new methods for how energy is generated and used by producing strategies in different areas of energy production. The company have a strong ethos, focus and ambition, driving them to be a world leader in this sector. They possess a number of assets and are consistently expanding.

They are currently looking for a Head of Risk Management to lead a team of risk analysts. The role will include managing risk control processes, overseeing a portfolio, identifying and assessing business risks and ensuring that risk policies are consistent with trading strategies.

Key skills and experience:
·5 years' experience in the energy market or a relevant risk function
·Degree in mathematics, economics, engineering etc.
·Excellent understanding of power, gas and/or fuel markets
·Strong management skills
·Good networking and communication skills
·Experience of driving change in response to evolving commercial approaches
