Develop VP QA/QC standards in compliance with client QA/QC policies & philosophies, Corporate Quality technical standards & specifications and coordinate with Corporate Quality department to address the conflicting requirements.
Review, evaluate Corporate Quality department issued QA/QC philosophies and standards and recommend technical QA/QC requirements in accordance with National and International codes & standards, International Oil Company (IOC) Specifications, Industry best practice etc.
Lead all interdepartmental interphases from VP focal point for resolving the QNQC deviations against Corporate Quality requirements that conflict with VP project technical/performance objectives in liaison with relevant Corporate Quality and VP departments.
Assist and guide, if required, in development and review of project quality assurance plans, procedures, work flows, ITPs, inspection test methods etc., and exercise oversight to ensure consistency and compliance with the VP technical & QHSE requirements, client policies, regulations & philosophies.
Assist, if required, in review of project quality organization, QNQC requirements in the scope of work (SOW), critical technical bids, pre-qualification etc., and ensure that Corporate and Project technical quality requirements are standardized and incorporated. Provide over-sight for proper deviation control & Non-conformance control. Review and provide input for resolution of deviations related to technical quality matters and accordingly update VP QNQC requirements.

Experience/Qualifications
Experience of 18 years in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry in a highly technical environment and QA/QC management of engineering projects of multi¬ discipline in nature.
Recent experience of 5 years should be in key lead role of managing and guiding a team working on project or corporate QA/QC.
Exposure on evaluation of company technical quality standards and practices is essential and should be conversant with IOC/ National/ International Standards and Industry best QA/QC practices.
Experience as lead auditor, possessing skills for identifying, planning, organizing technical & quality assurance audits of major and critical O&G projects.
Familiar with technical and quality management systems.
Should have effective leadership skills, team building, time management and conflict management.
High technical exposure and experience in working with senior management, multi-discipline engineering, multi-national staff, contractors & vendors
Should have effective communication skills, logical thinking, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
The candidate should be an engineering graduate, preferably in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering from an internationally recognized University.
Member of a recognized International and/or Regional Organizations of quality professionals. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualifications are highly preferable.
