The Key responsibilities are:
• Provide project planning and progress reporting services to assigned projects in accordance with the appropriate procedures (notably WI-EPUK-PROJ-008) and the Project Engineering Execution Plan or as directed by the PPL, PCM or RP as appropriate.
• Maintain full familiarity with company policies, directives and procedures and suggest improvements to project planning methods, procedures and practices to CPE.
• Assist in preparation of proposals as directed by the CPE.
• Maintain full familiarity with all relevant software applications associated with planning (including the relevant parts of the EDMS and SAP).
• Suggest areas for improvement of computerised systems applied to the project planning function to the CPE.
• Provide supervision and advice to other subordinate planning engineers on the same project as appropriate to assigned position.
• Ensure planning activities on projects are properly co-ordinated with cost control activities to conform with the integrated project control approach.
• Ensure all planning outputs are accurate and reflect fully all current relevant information.
• Ensure that the project planning network is set-up in such a way that it can exchange information with the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and SAP.
