Experience/Qualifications
• Experience of 18 years in HSE Management functions and exposure on HSE for major Oil & Gas and /or Infrastructure projects of which at least last 5 years in similar HSE Senior position for projects in reputable Oil & Gas Companies or EPIC Contractors.
• Wide exposure in various Safety Studies such as ORA, HAZID, HAZOP, Knowledgeable on Major Accident Hazard Management (MAH) and Environmental assessments.
• Knowledgeable on development and implementation of HSE Targets and Objectives, Key Performance Indicators, Statistics and Performance Monitoring.
• Familiar with OSHA standards and established international codes and standards.
• Experienced in providing safety management and supervision to a team of HSE personnel.
• Experienced as auditor in key and critical HSE compliance audits, inspections and reviews within Department and Contractors.
• Experienced investigation, review and analysis of work related accident/ incident including root cause and lessons learned and ensuring implementation and close-out of preventive and corrective actions.

Facilitate identification of training needs, and promote enhancement of HSE skills and competence amongst VP staff in line with Corporate HSE competency to attain high level of HSE awareness amongst client staff and Contractors
• Lead the development of Directorate Annual HSE objectives and performance targets in line with VP and Corporate guidelines as applicable for both Engineering and Construction stage of the projects.
• Visits project sites to ensure and establish coordination with Project HSE teams for effective implementation of HSE requirements at Projects.
• Support the development of Qatari Nationals by ensuring proper job training and development.
• Responsible to undertake special assignments given by client t management as and when required.
• Operates and performs responsibility and accountability under the guidelines of client policies and Corporate HSE procedure.
• Raise and address HSE reports, deliverables and recommendations to immediate Supervisor to ensure execution in line with CLIENT HSE Procedures and standard.
• Requires robust HSE expertise and skill to perform various strategies and plans working on multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
• Frequent long working hours on site visits at various projects in Industrial cities.
