Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas contractor, is looking for a Logistics Operations Planning Lead to work within the Company’s Logistics department on a large-scale project based in Kazakhstan

JOB PURPOSE:
To perform a Lead Logistics Operations focal point role for planning Future Projects; pre FEED, Concept selection plus other studies such as Kazakhstan select stage studies; and smaller projects; and to coordinate existing and future Logistics demand of stakeholders with Logistics teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Accountabilities:
• Provide logistics expertise to all internal stakeholders for development of logistics studies and inputs for all future projects and represent the logistics discipline within all project teams
• Manage the interface with the Logistics organization in support of all future project teams.
• Coordinate all future logistics demand requirements to provide high quality output.
For all Project Fields
• Assist in reviewing engineering documents such as engineering drawings, concept study report, etc. and provide Logistics input.
• Participate in updating technical and safety reviews (e.g. HAZID, EER, and SIMOPS) to review HSE compliance and technical integrity in design, constructability, functionality, safe operation and reliability of process designs.
• Participate in the project evaluation reviews relevant to each project definition phase, including preparation of deliverables and follow-up of recommendations.
Smaller projects
• Provide necessary logistics inputs and expertise to define all stages of the project; at concept selection, pre FEED and for project definition.
• Provide logistics expert advice at all stages of project pre execution.
Logistics Demand Management
• Coordinate future logistics demand; short, mid and long term requirements, from all existing and potential customers.
• Provide quality profiles to team and attend meetings, representing Logistics
• Continually report future demand requirements, and changes, to logistics discipline head and managers
• Provide planning input to all logistics disciplines to provide for future demand profiles, including existing activities and future growth projects, including supply base requirements.
• Define and maintain KPIs to measure accuracy of future customer demand planning and report to the manager of Logistics routinely

Duration: One year, renewable.

Status: Residential basis working 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.

Rate: US$465 per worked day net of any Kazakhstan tax.
