    Key Requirements

    Natural Resources are urgently seeking on behalf of their client a SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST (consolidated financial statements & tax declarations) who will be based in Qatar on a long term residential position and will be responsible for ensuring that the consolidated financial statements and tax declarations of our client are prepared accurately and in a timely manner and will also provide financial accounting and tax guidance to senior management as required. Note: Experience with an International Oil Company/reputable National Oil Company or major Auditing Firms is preferred. Duties Prepare the quarterly financial statements of company, which includes the statement of comprehensive income, statement of financial position, statement of changes in owners’ equity, and statement of changes in cash flows for management approval, ensuring the correct application of accounting principles, policies and procedures in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Prepare the monthly statement of income for management approval, ensuring the correct application of accounting principles, policies and procedures in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Respond to queries raised by the subsidiary and stand-alone external auditors, Board Audit Committee, internal auditor and tax auditor as part of the semi-annual, annual, and tax audits of company, including queries on accounting treatment and internal controls, to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the audits and / or investigations. Prepare company 5-year cash flow report to provide management with a recommendation on future pidends, in line with the pidend policy and the likely cash flow investment needs of the company. Advise and guide company subsidiary on financial accounting, tax and related areas, to ensure consistency and accurate financial statements throughout the group. Prepare the company (standalone) annual tax declaration to ensure company’s compliance with its statutory responsibilities. Prepare the consolidated financial statements in SAP on a quarterly basis for company. Develop applicable policies and procedures for the consolidation and group reporting section to improve governance and practice within the section. Experience/Qualifications Graduate in Finance or Accounting, with an internationally-recognized professional qualification, e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA. 12-years + post qualification experience, with at least two years in a similar consolidation role. Advanced Microsoft Excel user, with familiarity with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication (both written and oral) skills.
