Job Description

Purchasing: procuring general commodities; work shop maintenance consumables; office supplies; and general 3rd party services to the business at a competitive price and in a timely manner.
Logistics: providing a focal point for all logistics matters and movement of goods in support of projects and workshop operations. Arranging transport; interfacing with freight agents.
Expediting: responsible for supplier expediting and producing weekly reports. Prioritising rush and urgent orders, holding full responsibility for any goods until they are delivered and documentation is completed accordingly. Liaising with all relevant departments to ensure operations run smoothly.
Administration: maintain registers e.g. AVL; Project PO; Close-out Chart; etc.
Reporting to procurement manager, project managers and managing directors.

    Job Description

    The Company is one of the largest global design, project management and engineering organisations and has been contracted to act as the main supplier of FEED services to Saudi Aramco. They will manage all aspects of the project, including the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) providers. They are now building multiple teams of Project Managers and Specialists to work with them in ensuring the high quality of service delivery that they are renowned for. You may work at the Company’s main office or at one of the EPC offices, which are all in close proximity. You will be contracted through the Company for a guaranteed 5 year period with a potential extension of 4 years. Attractive “End of Service” bonuses will be offered at the end of the 5 and 9 year milestones. Al-Khobar is a large city located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the coast of the Persian Gulf and is linked to Bahrain via the causeway. The Company provides for single status and cannot assist with marital related visas or costs. This is a residential position (i.e. not rotational) and the Company provides 22 – 28 days holiday (depending on grade) plus you are entitled to all of the Saudi Public holidays (circa 10 - 14 days) which provide ample time to visit family. They will organise all mobilisation / demobilisation transport and you will be entitled to 2 flights home per year. For the first 28 days you will reside in the Holiday Inn and given the opportunity to visit their 5-6 accommodation compounds to select your preference.
