Purpose:
• The Electronic Technician is responsible for assembly, maintenance, calibration, and testing of PCBAs, sensors, and tool systems, and provides support to end-users, Inspectors, and Engineers.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Assembles, calibrates, and tests recorders and subsystems (PCBAs, sensors, cables, etc.) according to CAD/CAM documentation
• Prepares written calibration and test results, and updates maintenance databases (eMaint) and other asset documentation
• Initiates preventative maintenance and calibration
• Interfaces with Operations and Engineering for troubleshooting and logistics
• Installs software on PCs related to tools or provides specialized construction techniques
• Responsible for various inventories of spare parts, purchase requests, and follows up on purchase orders
• Performs duties according to the company’s ISO requirements and standards
• Maintains a neat, safe, and professional work environment in personal space
• Reviews opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies at the position level
• Performs other job duties as assigned

Competencies/Skills:
• Ability to effectively communicate technical problems and known solutions to others
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts
• Working knowledge of and ability to understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
