HSE MANAGER – REFINING / PETROCHEMICAL – QATAR


We are pleased to be working in conjunction with a JV of 2 large Operators who are running a Petrochemical Plant located in Qatar.
THE ROLE:
The role is a Permanent (Staff) position for an experienced HSE Manager - previous experience in operational Plant environment essential, to join the Plants Senior Management team with complete responsibility for a zero harm culture throughout the organisation.

Your role will be to ensure full compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and international standards.

You will be responsible for a multinational Department of more than 30 HSE Engineers with 7 Direct reports and so will have acted in a position with a similar level of responsibility previously.

It will involve the preparation and implementation of all HSE procedures and policies, ensuring that all standards and procedures meet audit and compliance objectives.

With complete responsibility for identifying Continuous Improvement opportunities within the Departments systems and processes whilst considering cost reduction and productivity implications.


REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or Equivalent discipline

NEBOSH or equivalent certification.

Minimum Experience:

8-10 years experience in an industrial environment, with at least 5 years in a petrochemical company – essential.

Must be fully up to date with International Standards ISO 14001, OHSAS 18000, OSHA, NFPA etc.


SALARY & PACKAGE:

This role comes with a Salary of approx $16,000 USD per month which is inclusive of Housing & Transportation Allowances.

As well as this you will also receive a multitude of additional allowances and bonuses and a complete relocation package for the you and your family. Schooling is Paid for and the package is completely Ex Pat.
