Key Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience. Minimum 5 years contract management and control, including management and control of multi discipline EPC contracts for electrical substation and Oil & Gas contracts

• Track record of successfully completed on time and within cost full EPC projects in areas of Transmission lines, Substations for utility and O&G sectors.

We are looking for an Operations Manager who can lead these projects and Manager a large team.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Maintains budget and assures cost spending is kept within budget.
• Responsible for weekly reporting, monthly projection, and scheduling updates as they relate to the electrical phases of a project.
• Monitors project performance and identifies areas where new/improved planning can improve the quality of existing services as well as recommend means for improvement, including procedural steps, increased training, and enhanced documentation.
• Ensure implementation of QMS(ISO 900:2015) & IMS (ISO 1400:2015 & OASA 18001)
• Ensures that project is executed as per Contract and negotiates extra claims for extra work.
• Make effective strategies on project related issues, contractual, technical and other to get the best for the company with customer and vendors and sub contractors.
• Adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures
• Preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required
• Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans
• Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary

PROPOSAL
• Participate in the development and review of proposal strategies and themes, and manage the development of a Proposal Management Plan (PMP)
• Assist in analyzing the RFP/bid requirements against the proposal outline to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to the customer’s issues and needs
• Build the proposal compliance matrix and track the fulfillment of all requirements
• Conduct regular proposal progress status meetings and maintain the proposal schedule
