TRAINEE CAD TECHNICIAN – PERMANENT – SURREY

Our Client, an international oil and gas contractor, is looking for a Trainee CAD Technician to join their team based at their office in Surrey.

This is a recognized apprenticeship and our Client requires a college or school leaver.

This is a Four-year course and a fantastic career opportunity to get into the Oil & Gas industry, which offers candidates the chance to train and grow within large corporate organisation.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• A/AS Level Maths or B.Tech Level 3 Maths
• Good English skills
It is important to note that applicants will be required to complete a test at interview stage to assess these skills.

COURSE STRUCTURE:
• Year One: Full time College at Richmond College – time spent within the office during half terms and holidays.
• Year Two: Office and Part time HNC Construction and Build Environment (Civils)
• Year Three: Office and Part time HNC Construction and Build Environment (Civils)
• Year Four: Complete training full time in house

SALARY: Initially £15,000 to £18,000 to £19,000 per annum depending on qualification however, this will increase as and when the various stages of training have been completed, each year.

ADDITIONAL: The success rate in this scheme is very high and at least 80% of the trainees are still with the company in the CAD department as well as other departments, where further training has been provided (Methods and Structural to name a few).
