Senior Piping Engineer with experience not less than 5 year experience as senior piping engineer.
- Autocad 2D skilled. (capability to produce drawing using Autocad);
- Naviswork skilled (capability to check model using Naviswork);

Job Description

The Job Position of Senior Piping Engineer covers the following main functions:
Execution of work on project;
Development of studies, perform activities in Detail Projects, and provide technical assistance to Client;
Execution of pipe routing;
Resolution of technical issues inside his discipline in adherence to project procedures and design requirements;
Interface with other disciplines in order to agree and develop common design philosophies and documents;
Perform technical tasks assigned by the Piping & Layout Lead, related with design, verification or study activities;
Interface with other Project Specialists, Designers and Draftsman;
It is required knowledge of international codes and standard for Piping Design;
Site engineering experience.

It’s an onshore assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare the scope of work required to close the gaps in CLIENT’s EPRS System namely: o Define per pipeline, per damage, per pipeline zone scenario what equipment, materials, procedures and services are required to respond and affect a repair. o Define the current status of EPRS system in Client facility o Contact vendors to define the latest specifications of their response / repair equipment o Contact service providers to define their capabilities (e.g. specialist welding of Inconel 625/825 etc.). o Define with Logistics what access and repair services are currently available within CLIENT (e.g. vessels, trucks, cranes etc.) and what call-off service contract(s) are required o Define whether the direct procurement of such equipment and services should be performed by CLIENT (noting the total life cycle cost of warehousing, preservation) whether EPRS should go to a turnkey service provider or whether partially be covered by CLIENT and by Contractor. • Work closely with C&P and Budget department to: o Develop EPRS Strategy, Contracting and Tendering Strategies o Prepare pre-qualification, bid evaluation screening requirements etc. o Respond to Bidder Technical Queries o Perform in conjunction with the Pipelines Team and C&P the Bid evaluations in order to select the appropriate vendor / services provider o Support in Contract Budget justification to TGA and PSA to gain approval o Support in attending the MCB for Contract award • Hold kick off meeting with the selected vendor / services provider or turnkey service provider • Prepare Decommissioning, Isolation and Recommissioning Procedures • Perform in conjunction with Pipeline TA2 an EPRS status health check in the last month of the assignment • Provide training to national staff / future contract holder on the Emergency Pipeline Response Preparedness and Repair Response Start Date: ASAP Duration: 1 year, with possible extensions Status: Single status Residential basis working 5 days a week, 8 hours per day. Rate: USD $500 per day worked (Net of Kazakh tax) Benefits: Client pays medical insurance/medical evacuation, Accommodation (single status standard) and 3 paid home leave return flights per residential assignment year (1st trip after 3 months of work). 50 work days of annual leave applicable (please note annual leave and travel days are unpaid).
