ADV Subsea Engineer - Shore based Houston, USA
We are currently acting for one of the Oil Majors to recruit an ADV Subsea Engineer to be located in their Houston Office. Occasional offshore trips/overseas travel may be required.
Suitable candidates will hold a Bachelors Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering and offshore certificates. They should have a minimum of five years engineering experience, preferably subsea infrastructure related. Offshore well operational experience is preferred. Equipment manufacturing experience is a plus. Responsibilities will include:
Prepare technical valve specifications for subsea manifolds or PLET/PLEMs;
Manage design/build process of tree with vendor;
Write SIT plans for integration with tree, controls, DHPT, IWS, IWOCS, ROV vendors and installation contractor. Organize and supervise SIT; and
Develop technical christmas tree specifications, RFQ’s (procurement assistance), and provide recommendations based on technical evaluations.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA or hold a Green Card.
