Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President North America. You will: Set qualitative and quantitative sales targets which will meet the Company’s budget and objectives and establish commission and reward schemes which will cost effectively motivate and drive the sales team to exceed their targets. Identify and disseminate best practice amongst the Sales and Marketing Team. With assistance from Product Management, create and implement sector focused go-to market strategies Identify and implement marketing activities (advertising, shows, mailings etc.) in support of the sales objectives and in line with the Company’s strategy. Work with operations to establish effective customer relations and retention mechanisms (renewals, etc.) and communicate and establish effective delivery in line with customer expectations, especially key accounts and major contracts. Lead the effort to work with customers and colleagues to proactively develop new products within the scope of Services to sell in our market. Assist in definition of individual and group sales commission reward schemes which are effectively self funded and achieve motivation of success for the sales and marketing scheme and oversee the efficient operation of the commission and reward schemes. Maintain effective sales and marketing performance reporting systems which enable measurement of success and adaptation in direction of sales and marketing activities and strive to improve the performance and effectiveness of the sales and marketing function.

The ideal applicant must have a degree or equivalent in a Mechanical/Electrical/Science related qualification and hold a Level 3 in UT/PA/TOFD or willing to take the exam within 12-18 months. Requirements are good oral and written communication skills and must be IT literate. You will oversee all aspects of Non - Intrusive Inspection techniques including PA/ToFD/Corrosion Mapping and will be fully conversant with DNV-RP-G103. Main duties will include Personnel competency audits, Competency assessments, Personal development plans and professional mentoring, Maintain competency across global activities and locations, Support compliance audits, Create and have ownership of operating procedures and techniques, Support for UKAS surveillance audits, Implementing technical improvement and developing on existing techniques, Advise on planning for all technical personnel, Review reporting and ensuring accuracy and a common approach. You will report directly to the SIS Group Head and work closely with the SIS Operational Head, Senior engineers and people from all over the business.
