Job Description Assist on HSE work plan development Provide onsite safety training for items including but not limited to Site orientation, Energy Isolation, Lifting and Hoisting, Confined Space Entry, Hazard Communication, Environmental procedures and Spill Control, Hot Work Procedures, Working at Heights/Scaffolding Participate and provide guidance on the Permit to Work process QA/QC of the JSA process Provide onsite coaching, consulting, inspection of the construction work Assist the construction team on assigned projects with HSE records and statistics Participate in evaluation of HSE performance of contractors and Company Site Team and recommend improvement alternatives where necessary Be to target 80% of time with the construction workers when assigned to a location Skills & Experience Excellent planner and organiser Effective oral and written communicator with all levels in the organisation Independent, objective and decisive Understands management systems and processes Determine root cause(s) of problems Effectively lead and/or participate in diverse teams Discern the applicability of HS&E laws and regulations and Company policies and standards to any activity or situation Independent use personal computing applications, e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer Extensive experience in the EP industry with prior HSE experience Technical (including HS&E) and operations assignments in one or more of Company's operating companies or businesses Prior experience in Hazard assessment/Risk assessment processes Applying HS&E statutes and regulations and company HS&E standards Supervisory assignment desired but not required Construction (offshore or onshore) experience desired Flexible travel and work schedule Climb and wear protective clothing and equipment on both offshore and onshore construction site environments This is a contract position. Job Description Have a working understanding of the various technologies that make up the Wells Appomattox Technology Plan. Work with vendors and Company Teams to coordinate delivery of these technologies in a timely manner to meet project schedule Many of the technologies necessary to deliver the Appomattox development are new to the company and industry, as such the Technology Focal Point will set milestones and follow progress of the technologies against milestones. Where technologies could impact the project delivery it is the Focal Point's task to flag early and investigate the opportunity for remediation or alternatives The Focal Point will be required to maintain project schedules as well as prepare briefings for the Project Management Team on a periodical basis The Technology Focal Point will be a participant on the Appomattox Development Wells Team and as such will answer to the Appomattox Team Lead. The team is mix team of Well, Completion, Intervention and Subsea Engineers. The position is a cross discipline role and will be expected to have an overview on all project interfaces The other disciplines required to deliver a major project such as Appomattox, Surface, Subsurface and HSE all have similar technology issues as Wells. The Focal Point will communicate with the technology focal points in the other disciplines to minimise and coordinate technologies with synergies as well as cooperate on joint technology documentation The Wells Technology Focal Point will be responsible for developing rolling cost estimates and cost tracking of the technology plans, VOWD and flagging potential overspend early Responsible for ensuring HSSE is integrated into the technology delivery at every stage, flag HSSE risks of the chosen technologies and develop solutions Project improvement ideas will come out of the Project Delivery, Well Delivery and associated rDtL (Delivering the Limit) Process. The Wells Technology Focal Point will work and advise the Well/Completion/Intervention Engineers to mature prospective project improvement initiatives. Participate in rDtL events and present technology progress as required Skills & Experience Extensive relevant industry experience including wells completion and well intervention operations.
