Job Description

  • Act as the primary interface between CIC-S&P, Inspection Execution Team and Operations
  • Define system & circuit structure from engineering drawings (P&IDs)
  • Complete field verification walkdown of facility piping per the defined system and circuit categorization
  • Complete field walk down of piping identified on dead leg registers for North Slope facilities
  • Complete review of Level 4 & 5 RAPID items
  • Assist in review, reconciliation and continuous improvement of Asset Specific Corrosion Control Plans (ASCCP)

Skills & Experience

  • A degree in engineering or physical science is preferred; however, extensive experience in oil and gas operations with appropriate industry qualifications such as API, ASNT or NACE with strong record of technical engagement may be substituted
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with use of MS Excel and Word; ability to locate, query and interpret/analyze data from internal systems (Brio, EDDI, Atlas GIS, Scada & MIMIR)
  • Ability to read and understanding engineering drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, Piping Plans, Isometric and Civil)
  • Bias for action - does things before being asked to or forced to by events
  • Business insight - understands internal and external customer needs and strives to exceed their expectations
