86434 - Compliance Data Coordinator Our client is one of the world's largest energy companies employing over 80,000 personnel and operating in over 100 countries worldwide with expertise covering a range of energy sources. They are currently recruiting for the position of Compliance Data Coordinator, based in Anchorage. Job Description Conduct annual quality assurance and maintenance reviews of wildlife compliance in Compliance Task Manager (CTM) Research, analyse and compile data for wildlife permit applications and reports to various regulatory agencies Act as secondary point of contact for operations and projects on wildlife issues Review of non-compliances / near misses in conjunction with the Wildlife Compliance Advisor (CA) to determine corrective and preventative actions and preparation of learnings to other groups Develop and maintain procedures through the management of change process in conjunction with the Wildlife CA Develop and maintain training materials in conjunction with the Wildlife CA Manage Environmental Studies and Air Quality contractor management program through tasks such as scheduling in company's scheduling tool, reviewing scopes and communicating to the North Slope, ensuring appropriate security access and authorizations are in place and maintaining documentation and record keeping. Maintain the Environmental Studies database (MS Access) Ad Hoc waste tasks such as updating training materials, managing the waste stream data tracking system and data entry and acting as main point of contact for waste sampling results Develop and communicate guidelines for contractors working on company projects Work with regulatory agencies to facilitate North Slope visits (badges, access, logistics etc.) General file and documentation management Skills & Experience Entry level Bachelor's degree (emphasis on environmental science or policy background) Highly organized Excellent people and communication skills Strong computer skills Database management proficiency Environmental Compliance background with an understanding of Wildlife related regulations Experience in Emergency Response including understanding of Incident Command System (ICS) Self starter - ability to prioritize tasks and manage overall workflow with little oversight Problem solver - ability to isolate a problem and recommend solutions Good influencer - ability to work with others to gather information or gather feedback on issues Attention to detail - compliance reporting and data must be accurate and reliable This is a contract position. The rate for this position is negotiable.
