85054 - Principal Subsea Pipeline Engineer Our client is a global facilities and infrastructure provider within the Oil & Gas industry. They are currently recruiting for the position of Principal Subsea Pipeline Engineer, based in Woking. Job Description Perform Engineering duties as advised and under supervision of Project Manager, Discipline Consultant or Technical Director Deputise for Project Manager or Discipline Consultant Supervise and co-ordinate assigned engineers and draughtsmen Responsible for execution of the work on-time and on-budget Ensure compliance with corporate and project QMS and HSE procedures Proficient in writing and checking of design reports and calculation sheets, procurement data sheets and material fabrication specifications Experience and confident in Client/Project interfaces and managing third party and sub-contractors Technically competent and experience in responding to IVB comments Support and mentoring to junior engineers Preparation of Proposals and/or review of proposals Identification of potential research and development Liaise with material and equipment suppliers Contributing to the development of engineering methodologies and tools Undertaking assignments in other offices, client offices, vessels or site Writing, publication and presentation of technical papers Attendance of meetings, presentations and engineering reviews Skills & Experience Extensive experience with significant direct offshore pipeline and subsea design experience Preferably gained experience in design engineers/consultants or installation contractors Leading Project teams in design of subsea Pipeline systems Competent in subsea Pipeline Design Competent in use of relevant codes and software Good knowledge of subsea systems and installation methods including hardware Construction and offshore experience desirable Materials knowledge desirable Conceptual and FEED experience desirable Flow assurance knowledge desirable Some construction and offshore experience Client interface experience Project Management experience desirable Project engineering experience desirable Sage Oracle FS2000 Orcaflex/Flecom or similar Abacus Mathcad MS Word and Excel Relevant degree qualification Specialist Masters and chartered status welcome This is a permanent position.
