Key Requirements
•Boiler and Steam Systems
•Process packages
•Cryogenic equipment (columns, cold boxes)
•Nuclear waste processing
•Degree qualified or equivalent/ Chartered Professional Engineer (or working towards)
•Around 10years experience in Nuclear or Power sector, Oil & Gas sector, including lead engineer experience
•Presssure Vessel design experience
•Experience of thermal design or analytical calculation an advantage
•Understanding of Engineering Contractor working environment and ability to interface with clients, suppliers and other discipline engineers.
•Ability to carry out Lead Engineer role.
Job Description
•Use technical writing skills and experience to support the delivery of project related documents to Supplier designed packages, Data sheets, Bid Tabulations, Material requisitions
· Carry out design and specification of pressure vessels in accordance with PD5500, ASME VIII Div 1 and 2, PED and TEMA.
· Liaise and Interface with clients, suppliers and other discipline engineers.

The successful candidate will report to the process safety manager and provide Human Factors Engineering (HFE) input into the FEED design scope. Your activities will include the development of a Human Factors Implementation Plan as well as provide the input to project design documentation. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the HFE issues register and providing input to the engineering studies, accommodation studies and control room design. You will also be responsible for the preparation of HFE reports and support implementation of the Safety in Design (SID) process. You will be a degree qualified individual, ideally with a Masters in Psychology or Ergonomics and have a good track record with HFE within a highly regulated industry such as Oil and Gas.
