Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to work on a variety of offshore and onshore projects within the Oil and Gas industry

You will be responsible for providing support to the project manager/director (of those projects to which assigned) on all matters relating to Quality Management including the following:

· Development and maintenance of the Project Quality Plan

· Assist project process owners in establishing their delivery processes and procedures

· Review of various IDC documents including Engineering Specifications

· To plan and lead (as necessary), assessment visits/audits to suppliers and sub-contractors as agreed

· Coordinate Critically Ratings and Quality Programmes for requisition packages

· Assist in the evaluations of Suppliers and Sub-Contractors as required

· Evaluation of QA inputs to Prequalification packages and attend evaluation meetings

· Provide QA input to the analysis of bids

· Attend bid clarification meetings

· Carry out pre-award audits of suppliers as required

· Review quality related vendor documents and mark-up supplier QC/I&T Plans

· Participate in supplier kick-off and/or pre-production meetings

· Provide input to and monitor close out of concession and deviation requests

· Undertake as necessary awareness training in the project Quality Management System, procedures and applications

· Ensure that necessary quality records are identified and retained in accordance with Project, client and regulatory requirements

· Conduct audits/ reviews in accordance with the Project Audit & Review Schedule & provide related audit reports

· Coordinate close out of audit findings.

Ideally you will be a minimum of a HNC qualified engineer with membership of the CQI. You will also be a IRCA registered QMS Lead Assessor
