Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to work on a variety of offshore and onshore projects within the Oil and Gas industry You will be responsible for providing support to the project manager/director (of those projects to which assigned) on all matters relating to Quality Management including the following: Development and maintenance of the Project Quality Plan Assist project process owners in establishing their delivery processes and procedures Review of various IDC documents including Engineering Specifications To plan and lead (as necessary), assessment visits/audits to suppliers and sub-contractors as agreed Coordinate Critically Ratings and Quality Programmes for requisition packages Assist in the evaluations of Suppliers and Sub-Contractors as required Evaluation of QA inputs to Prequalification packages and attend evaluation meetings Provide QA input to the analysis of bids Attend bid clarification meetings Carry out pre-award audits of suppliers as required Review quality related vendor documents and mark-up supplier QC/I&T Plans Participate in supplier kick-off and/or pre-production meetings Provide input to and monitor close out of concession and deviation requests Undertake as necessary awareness training in the project Quality Management System, procedures and applications Ensure that necessary quality records are identified and retained in accordance with Project, client and regulatory requirements Conduct audits/ reviews in accordance with the Project Audit & Review Schedule & provide related audit reports Coordinate close out of audit findings. Control material flow into Stores/Warehouse, Project, or Product locations, communicate with originators on material availability and progress. Dispatch Control materials packing and labelling, arrange pick up - despatch, raise orders for despatch and maintain RMS in regards to deliveries. Maintain product history sheets, serial number logs and ensuring documentation is correct and address labelling is correct, and raise despatch note. In the case of stock being delivered to projects; maintain stock transfer sheets. Assist with the raising of special delivery documentation requirements such as: Hazardous goods, dangerous goods, commercial invoices. Tool Store / Calibration Maintain tool store and control tool calibration records and certs, carry out periodic tool checks for calibration and insulation, arrange for out of date tools to be checked equipment to be calibrated. Working from the head-office and being part of their global projects our client is currently searching for people from a Upstream Engineering background to take on a new challenging position in Internal Auditing. This can be from a Subsurface or Drilling area. Candidates must come from a background where they understand risk management from a number of areas including corporate, operational, financial, strategic perspective. Experienced auditors with an Oil and Gas background are welcome. You will receive an intensive and vigorous training course to get you up to speed with the industry and mind-set of how an Internal Auditor needs to work. You must be naturally strong at influencing people, you will design and deliver audit work and you will generally manage on-site activity. You will address the relevant areas of risk and ensure that the process is following my clients internal quality standards. The job itself will give you excellent exposure to the entire organisation and access to some of the top bosses, directors and CEOs of the company which many people will never see. The position will have a superb breadth and variety and you will have stints working in top international locations. To take on the position as an Internal Auditor, you will have at least 5 years experience involved in either the Downstream or upstream sectors of the oil and gas industry (more experienced candidates are more than welcome to apply). You would experienced an element of risk management previously and be able to develop this understanding to a series of internal principles as outlines by our client. You will have the ability of both mentoring and managing people as you develop in your role. You must have EU citizenship or equivalent for this position.
