Job Description
Drilling Manager Central London Operator
A large independent exploration and production company with international assets. As part of their continued growth strategy, they seek to appoint a Production Drilling Manager, based in the London office.
The company currently operates a portfolio of exploration, production and development licenses.
The Role:
The role broadly encompasses the management and co-ordination of drill planning and later follow-up of production wells.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Concept evaluation.
- The co-ordination of necessary studies within "best drilling methods", including rockmechanical studies.
- Company representation at technical meetings.
- Specification of contract requirements and taking part in the technical evaluation of tender processes.
- Detailed well design .
- Well budgeting.
- Coordination with field development projects.
- Responsibility for the drilling and completion area in the development plans.
- Responsibility for the planning and execution of development drilling.
You:
You will have a degree, hold IWCF certificate and have proven drilling and completions experience within an offshore environment.
