Key Requirements
- Engineering degree or other tertiary qualifications matched with relevant experience.
- Fluent in English is essential, with the ability to communicate effectively in French or Arabic.
- Participation in several significant projects in a design leadership role Engineering experience in the project infrastructure & minerals processing spaces
- Major project experience in iron ore, infrastructure and/or challenging construction environments
- The ability to work in the UK and/or Europe is essential (European Schengen work permission will be a definite advantage)
Job Description
Mission
The Lead Project Engineer m/f will provide key day to day oversight of the engineering effort to keep an emphasis on achieving the agreed deliverables in the engineering area relating to the project design, costing and constructability/execution preparation.
The Lead Project Engineer m/f will be key in interfacing with both the Consulting Engineering Team and will be part of the effort to manage the relationship with the engineers key design personnel.
As an experienced engineer The Lead Project Engineer will assist in determining key design strategies as appropriate for a Pre-Feasibility study and design phase as subsequently to participate in the Feasibility study and FEED stage ready for execution.
