Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following:
User of Zuken E3 electrical CAD software.
Fault finding on heavy vehicles, working on wiring modifications on prototype vehicles.
Fault finding on heavy vehicles, working on wiring modifications on prototype vehicles.
An understanding of Wildfire 4 3D design package.
Must have experience in electrical vehicle wiring design (schematic & harness creation and harness routing installations).
It would be advantageous to have an understanding of design of electrical wiring systems supporting CANBUS equipment.
It would be beneficial to have an understanding of design of electrical wiring systems in equipment comprising Scania, Cummins or MTU engines and Allison or ZF transmissions.
Job Description
Your role will involve:
1. Produce cost effective workable Electrical Engineering design solutions in response to required specifications and regulations to fulfil received orders.
2. Failure investigation to root cause and countermeasure development.
3. Support Current and New product design and development projects as required.
4. Prepare new wiring schematic, installation and part designs using 3D CAD tools. Prepare and issue 2D drawings from 3D models according to required design standard.
5. Support Continuous Improvement activities within ECH-UK and the wider EMEA Engineering community.
