Job Description

Our client, a leading international Oil and Gas Engineering and Services company seek an experienced NDE / NDT Supervisor / Auditor. The position is a Staff role, based in Glasgow. The Role: Assist the NDE Operations Manager in ensuring that the subcontract NDE organisations work and perform in accordance with the company's needs. The NDE Ops Supervisor will be responsible for working with subcontractors through all phases of a project, including procedure qualifications, carrying out NDE, preparation for mobilisation to site and ensuring that each project NDE is carried out in a way that supports the achievement of targets. Ensure that NDE is always available when it should be and the NDE spread properly prepared and documented as required. NDE Ops Supervisor is required to monitor, report and assist in timely solutions in relation to the performance of the NDE subcontractor's services at site Work closely with and advise the NDE Operations manager along with relevant productions managers to ensure that maximum efficiencies and targets are achieved. Strict adherence to our stringent technical specifications are constantly adhered to by the NDE subcontractors Deputise for the NDE Operations Manager. Assist in Development with new Inspection Techniques both with the NDE Subcontractor and the internal NDE team. Perform AUT inspection and Interpretation with company AUT equipment. Will provide onsite expertise in weld evaluation/interpretation Keep NDE Operations manager informed of daily operations involving AUT and production issues.
