Job Description
The SURF Installation Project Engineer works in a delivery line of the project, and will supervise contractors’ execution of installation engineering design, equipment and materials procurement, structures fabrication, transportation, testing, and provide technical support onboard installation vessels. The PE will manage design changes, ensure technical and commercial issues are resolved and the deliverable is in compliance with all BP and statutory requirements. The position holder will take a leadership role HSSE performance and ensuring highest standards in all behavioral and HSSE compliance matters. The PE will report to a delivery project manager, and may be expected to lead teams of internal BP or contractors engineers. . Also, the project engineer is accountable for front end loading (FEL) contracting, procurement, fabrication, and testing, of all Flowline, Umbilicals, and structures
