Job Description
Responsible for Sherwood surveillance plan and well review process.
Support the Aberdeen team for reservoir management activities.
Provide classical RE support to the field eg MBAL, GAP and Prosper modelling to identify methods of increasing offtake.
Accountable for providing operations with water injection strategy and guidelines for Sherwood and BWFK.
Down hole data tracking and pressure management to identify problems and opportunities for managing the waterflood.
Arrange well tests of Sherwood wells. Interpret well test and sampling results. Manage injection flow meter surveys and ensure quality results are obtained.
Create and maintain I-choke model and recommend production improvement.
Identify and review well-work options.
Prepare SOR’s for Sherwood related well work including water injection workovers and all other non rig interventions. Provide production predictions in conjunction with Aberdeen subsurface team.
Work with well interventions and operations teams to decide well-work prioritisation.
Carry out production and injection technical limit reviews where required.
Support drilling, work-over and well interventions programs.
Provide operational PE support where required to the wells group.
Represent the asset at BP Waterflood network calls
Support Challenge PE where required
Deputise for production engineer to assist with production forecasting, loss reporting and Base Management dashboard management.
On request take part and / or contribute in the incident investigation process

Job Description
Given the senior nature of the role, it is imperative that this person has the technical experience and capability to ensure credibility both internally and externally. Broad Petroleum Engineering background with experience of working in an international context, within an operated oil company, preferably covering subsurface, operations and development projects. Well developed management skills that can be applied to integrated projects. A solid understanding of all aspects of hydrocarbon exploration and production. Strong communication skills with an ability to work within a matrix structure, as well as an ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems. Fully conversant with capabilities in other disciplines (e.g. reservoir engineering, production technology and Drilling, surface facility engineering, etc.) Understanding of the commercial aspects of the industry is an advantage. Able to handle multiple tasks and to balance level of detail and effort versus business impact and priorities.
