Job Description

Our client is an upstream oil producer operating in the North Sea. Established in 2005, they run large projects for major and independent energy companies worldwideAs Drilling Supervisor your main responsibilities will includeDirect liaison with the OIM and offshore management to ensure mutual understanding, and agreement of priority and scheduling of all ongoing and planned work programmes. Direct supervision of drilling and completion operations.Routinely conducting assessments of contractor's safe systems of work including assessing effectiveness of near miss reporting, risk assessment, hazard reviews and ISSOW Ensuring that all well operations are undertaken in accordance with the approved well programme and that programme change controls are implemented.Technical control of company's drilling service contractors and ensuring their services are executed in line with well work programmes.Co-ordination and management of logistics and POB needed to support well operations.Regular liaison with the Drilling Superintendent, Senior Drilling Engineer and individual engineers during operations including formal reporting.Timely and accurate completion of reports. Co-ordination and quality control of all data capture at the well site.Controlling and documenting all offshore costs.Chairing pre-phase meetings and post phase after action reviews. Document learning and communicate back to SDE.
