Key Requirements
Principal/Senior Chartered engineer with extensive experience, including significant bridge and major project experience in UK and internationally.
Candidates will already be in possession of relevant academic qualifications, be exceptionally experienced since post-qualified in chartership and able to demonstrate exceptional Bridge Engineering Technical competencies. They should also have the necessary drive to achieve their goals and deliver commercial success.
The successful candidate should also have:
- Engineering degree with several years post-professional engineering qualification experience.
- Any post-grad management qualification will benefit any applicant.
- Experience of detailed bridge engineering design and consultancy solutions.
- Strong project, team and delivery management
- Business Development capability
- International experience of Bridge Engineering is essential as is the ability to travel overseas
Job Description
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Leading major bids
- Leading and ensuring delivery on all necessary aspects of project’s design and consultancy.
- Maintain the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of the respective discipline engineering work.
- Provide technical skills in bridge discipline.
- Mentoring junior staff, giving technical guidance
- Project manage/lead teams in major design and/or construction supervision projects in UK and internationally.
