Qualifications/Skills and Experience:
• Hold or be prepared to train for a Professional Accountancy qualification (essential)
• Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets (essential)
Knowledge of accounting software (essential)
• Enthusiastic, ambitious, hard-working team member, who is a quick learner and is willing to accept new challenges (essential)
• Experience of preparation of Statutory Accounts – Yearly (essential)
Experience of preparation of SAFs – Biannually (essential)
• Good communication skills, both written and oral (essential)
•Attention to detail and strong organisational skills (essential)
•Experience of working in a similar role and of management reporting (desirable)
Job Description
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for preparing forecasting, management accounts and narrative for assigned business entities for review by the HESWI Financial Controller.
• Prepare the quarterly forecast and annual budget submission (to be reviewed by the HESWI Financial Controller).
• Responsible for the integrity of the entities nominal ledger.
Cash management, reporting and forecasting for entities assigned.
• Prepare and present management information as required.
• Enhance current management information to reflect changing needs of management and to drive the business forward.
•Assist in improving, developing and monitoring controls.
• Produce and / or analyse detailed product costing and margin analysis within entities.
• Continual improvement of current accounting system to support the finance function.
