Identify any potential risks with design, engineering, quality, and safety.ROLE DEFINITION Main Responsibilities Support engineering department in delivering an effective and efficient design. Providing input on subsea installation aspect during design of SPS equipment/structures, offshore pipeline and infrastructure. Lead a cross-functional team of company and third party resources. Integrating (and managing as required) activities across subsurface, subsea, topsides and other project support disciplines.Initiating and managing (if requested) for the installation phase early stage project activities including planning, risk management, HAZOP and HAZID participationResponsible for proper application of industry and applicable regulatory codes, standards, and practices for the fabrication and installation of subsea systems, umbilical, flow-lines, jumpers, rigid/flexible spools risers, manifolds, controls and subsea trees. Key Activities To coordinate the development of engineering and design deliverables for installation, pre commissioning and commissioning of whole SPS equipment's, key infrastructure, pipeline, with particular attention to shore approach and escarpment crossing challenging, or sustaining innovative technologies.To supervise the development for all pipeline installation procedures from shore to ultra-deep water.     The single point management of Site Wide Logistics at multi-project environment; planning and subsequent coordination of multiple Main Contractors' activities where logistics interfaces apply.

    Responsible for the daily operational management of all site logistics activities, ensuring a safe & productive environment, pro-actively identifying ways to add value to the project process.

    - Mobilise logistics operations team.

    - Logistics site establishment inc. temporary infrastructure and security systems, e.g. access control.

    - Liaise with Main Contractors; chair weekly look-aheads for all logistics related activity

    - Audit Main Contractors contractual obligations to the project.

    - Create project reporting dash-board incorporating Main Contractor performance.

    - Present regular updates to the Client and Project Managers.

    - Liaise with local emergency services and present updates on construction logistics e.g. traffic arrangement.

    - Ensure no undue disruptions or delays to the progress of the projects.

    - Collate and approve appropriate work permits accompanying road closures and use of mobile cranes, ensuring accurate completion of associated paperwork.

    - Ensuring all subcontractors understand and comply with project procedures

    - Manage the Health and Safety documentation ensuring all statutory and company requirements are met

    - Responsible for rotas and schedules ensuring timesheets are 100% accurate to enable the prompt and correct payment of site personnel.

    - Monitor, audit and report waste trends, traffic flows and actual material delivery quantities monthly, with an aim to increase productivity

    - Control and monitor labour levels for team.

    - Ensure daily briefings are held to ensure communication of daily priorities. Record tool box talks and ensure they are delivered in an effective manner.

    - Prepare method statements, risk assessments fire plans and emergency procedures as required ensuring they are up to date, delivered appropriately and adhered to

    - Attend briefings/ meetings with other project or client teams participating in the preparation of associated reports and/or tender documentation.

    - Manage mobilisation and de-mobilisation of project applying systematic planning and communication to achieve success

    - Linkage with other projects and pisions, supporting wider organisational objectives, encouraging cross fertilisation across the business and identifying opportunities for innovation

    This is a permanent position.
