Our client is a major Mining and Oil & Gas production company based in Aberdeen and operating in the North SeaAs Decommissioning Operations Engineer your main responsibilities will includeWork closely with other company groups such as Maintenance, Integrity, Production, Drilling and Modifications to ensure all interfaces are appropriately managed.Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner to comply with statutory and company requirements.Represent the Decommissioning group in technical and safety related studiesLiaise with and act as focal point for offshore operations and maintenance supervisors and teams Troubleshooting in support of the offshore decommissioning operationsCoordinate the activities of offshore contractors, vendors and specialists and set their priorities and objectives prior to offshore visits.
