Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a successful individual to lead and develop the Mechanical, Electrical and Process team in Bristol. A new position and will therefore be a chance for a talented and experienced individual to prove themselves.
To apply for this role you should be able demonstrate the following; Degree qualification with Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering bias and preferably achieved Chartership. Significant experience of working in the Water Industry, including in areas such as clean water, dirty water and sludge treatment Experience of working within industrial sectors (advantageous) Experience of managing teams Project team leadership Financial management Strong inter-personal skills Robust commercial and consultancy awareness A track record of winning and delivering engineering projects Stakeholder management .
Reporting to the Operations Director, your key responsibilities will be; Technical: Project management on a variety of engineering projects including scoping, feasibility and design, undertaking technical work, including reviews and design, on a variety of projects for the water and industrial sectors
Management: Management of allocated staff teams including; general pastoral care, workload, productivity and recruitment / mentoring / training / development. Financial: Taking responsibility for Finances including Project Finances and general overheads. Sales / Marketing: Working closely with the Operations Director to develop new business initiatives networking with internal clients to develop new work. Production of Project Marketing documentation.
