An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PLC/SCADA Software engineer with our client in Bristol, a world leading Oil and Gas company. Qualifications and Experience Essential Degree / HND qualified (or equivalent) in Software Engineering. experience in a Process control industry. Have a proven Software Engineering background in PLC / SCADA systems. Rockwell ControlLogix (Ladder, SFC, FBD) Wonderware Intouch GE Fanuc preferable Have experience of working with codes of practice and national and international standards. Be able to communicate effectively - verbal and written English. Be capable of multi-tasking and working to agreed schedules. Experience of communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, TCP/IP, CANOpen, Ethernet IP and networking. Experience with Microsoft office and Visio products.

Job Description
Hymech (Hydra-mechanical) engineer required with our client in Bristol, a world leading Oil and Gas Company. Mechanical Engineer with experience in Subsea Production Control component design. Responsibilities Interpretation of industry and international codes and standards. Interpretation of client standards and global practices. Generation and / or Review of technical procurement specifications. Ensuring technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirements. Ensuring that product design conforms with field proven or qualified technologies. Ensuring that best practice is followed to achieve maximum levels of safety, quality and efficiency. Representation of GE in client and vendor focussed design review. Technical contribution to vendor selection processes. Experience required Qualifications/Requirements HNC or Degree in Engineering OR International equivalent and 5 years work experience on closely related equipment.
